Bios
For three decades, Ariel Hyatt has been a driving force in music marketing and an unwavering cheerleader for independent artists. Since the dawn of the digital revolution, she has helped thousands of musicians across all genres navigate the confusing, ever-changing industry landscape with clarity, confidence, and ease. Her sharp strategic intuition, deep passion, and knack for turning complex strategies into human-sized, digestible systems make her a transformative force for artists looking to accelerate their careers.
Ariel is the author of seven books on music marketing, publicity, and crowdfunding. Her latest release, From Buzz to Bond: How to Stop Chasing Hype and Build a Lasting Music Career, rocketed to #1 on Amazon in the Music Business category. Accompanied by her new Buzz to Bond season of The Cyber PR Music Podcast and structured 7-week mastermind cohorts, Ariel and her team actively guide artists through her signature Bond Marketing Funnel—shifting the industry away from short-lived viral hype and toward sustainable, direct fan relationships.
“I’m a thinking partner,” Ariel explains. “A mind-numbing amount of new music is released daily, and navigating this industry alone is overwhelming. An empathetic, experienced cheerleader who coaches, advises, and shortens the learning curve makes all the difference.”
For Ariel, helping artists navigate career shifts comes from a place of deep empathy and decades of firsthand experience. Having watched creative industries go through seismic digital shifts, she understands the real-world friction musicians face when the rules of the game change overnight.
“I’ve seen how quickly the landscape moves and how easy it is for artists to feel left behind without a roadmap,” Ariel shares. “That’s what inspires my work—giving musicians the resources, adaptability, and actionable systems they need to stay resilient and come out ahead.”
This mission forms the foundation of Cyber PR, where she and her team create long-term strategy plans called Total Tuneups and provide heart-centered marketing coaching and execution. Driven by a lifelong commitment to artist education, Ariel has spent years delivering keynotes, leading masterclasses, and traversing the globe to teach creators how to take control of their careers—including nearly two decades as a featured speaker at SXSW.
Born and raised in New York City, Ariel still lives in Manhattan with her husband, son, and their 22-year-old tabby, Hunter C. Thompson. She proudly serves on the boards of Women in Music and Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, and is a graduate of Leadership Music. When she isn't leading cohorts or coaching artists, she enjoys seeing her city through the eyes of her first grader, powerwalking in Central Park, cooking, happily holding court across a dozen hyperactive WhatsApp Communities, and trying not to lose her mind over the rise of AI slop music.
